If you are planning on hunting then this course is a must. Trained members from Izaak Walton League and the Community will spend 6 evenings with you and show you the correct and safe way to handle your hunting firearms. Pre-registration is required and attendance at all sessions.
Plan ahead for your fall hunting!! This class is only offered in the winter/spring!!
Participants must be 11 years old by time class finishes!
You must pre-register. Once you are registered you will receive prior to the class the State/Parent permission form to fill out and return to the Community Ed Office before the 1st night of class.
No permission form returned/no classroom training!
An additional fee of will be due when you register on line to receive your certificate.
ALL classes must be attended. Range Testing Date Saturday March 11th. Times TBD
at Eagle Lake Shooting Range. More info will be sent home with the students prior to testing day.
Parents must provide transportation to and from range.
