Description:
This camp is an intro to competitive cheerleading. Unlike traditional Sideline Cheer, in which cheerleaders support sports teams from the sidelines at athletic events, competition cheer teams compete directly against one another using an objective scoring system. At camp cheerleaders will learn a 2.5 minute routine that incorporates stunts, jumps, dance, and a timeout cheer with crowd-leading props such as signs, pom-poms and megaphones.
Students should have a note to ride the shuttle bus to the High School. Cheerleaders/Instructor will meet the students at the Middle School Entrance and take them to the High School/Middle School Cafeteria. Parents pick up at the Cafeteria.
Perform Cheers at the Boys Basketball Game on Friday, February 10th. Please arrive at 6:30pm and report to the cafeteria.
