NL-S offers a parent Education class for Driver’s Education
These classes are designed for parents. Students are not required to attend. Class is not mandated by law but is highly recommended by the Department of Motor Vehicle. Parents may attend any one of the sessions before their child gets their license.

Effective January 1st, 2015 all students who complete their behind the wheel instruction after January 1st, will be required to turn in a Driving Log of hours driven during their duration of having a permit when applying for a license. Parents who attend any of our Parent sessions before their child gets a license will then receive a certificate that will knock off 10 hours of required driving logged. Both certificate and Driving Log need to be turned in at the DMV office when taking the test. Class Certificate is good for one child only per family. Certificates will be given out with the student's white card upon completion of their Behind the Wheel training.
