If you are 55 or older, save money on your car insurance premiums and become a better driver! MN law requires insurance companies to offer you a 10% reduction for 3 years if you complete the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course taught by professional, certified instructors. The 8 hour class is split over 2 days of classroom instruction-no driving test required. After completing this course and saving 10% for 3 years all you have to do is take the 4 hour refresher for further savings. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class to turn into your insurance company for your discount. Attendance is mandatory at both sessions to complete the course. Pre-registration is required by September 8th at 2pm.
