Band camp is for ALL students who will be in the 6th grade band, fall of '19. This camp will give you the jump on the year with basics of playing your instrument as part of a band. Area instructors and NLS Concert Band Members join Mr. Mason to give small group and individual instructions through out the week. Friday the band gives an 11:30am performance for their family and friends in the Performing Arts Center. Questions can be directed to the Band Director, Nick Mason at masonn@nls.k12.mn.us.
Students will be assigned two small-group, one-hour lessons during the week of August 13th with a teacher (either Tues/Thurs or Wed/Fri)
Week of August 13th - Small Group Lessons with teacher- to be scheduled
Monday-Thursday August 19th-22rd: Everyone meets 8am to noon
Friday, August 23rd: Camp at 8am, Public Concert at 11:30 Friday.
