Come and be a part of a new and exciting musical opportunity! INSPIRE is a multi-age Children’s Choir that integrates the fine arts: elements of drama, movement, various instruments, and more! Exploring music from many genres and cultural perspectives, we will celebrate the unique gifts of our diverse community.
All children in 2nd—8th grade are welcome to be a part of INSPIRE. We will meet for 10 weekly rehearsals and end our semester with 2 Saturday morning performances. Our rehearsals and performances will be unique to the talents and interests of our group.
Please note -- Parents provide all transportation -- NO Bussing is available
Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 3:45 –5:15pm at Lakeland Elementary, Music Room
Dates: September 10, 17, 24 | October 1, 8, 22, 29 | November 5, 12, 19
Performances on Saturday morning, November 23 (times and locations TBA)
Hello from the directors! -- Hi! We are so excited to give leadership to INSPIRE, a new Willmar Area Children’s Choir. Having worked with children (of all ages) in a variety of settings, we are passionate about developing the musical and creative gifts of young artists in our community.
Carol has a degree in Music Education and currently works as Music Director at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church. Randi has an Elementary Education degree and teaches at Lakeland Elementary.
We believe music has the power to INSPIRE self-expression, confidence, positive relationships, and JOY!
The mission of INSPIRE is to instill a love of music, encourage musical growth,
support character development, and promote unity!
